Our first shoot with Shawnie—known as @pivotpixie on Instagram—was nothing short of magic. We met Shawnie while living in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico, after Nina bumped into her and a friend during one of her adventures. Convincing her to shoot with us turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. What made this shoot even more special was discovering that Shawnie was from Atlanta and had lived in L.A., meaning we had mutual friends. It immediately felt like we were shooting with family.

In this video, we embraced the art of shadow play, using light and darkness to enhance Shawnie’s stunning figure and her fluid, graceful movements. Her body language and the way she connected with the camera brought our creative vision to life in a way that felt both bold and intimate. Every frame showcases the perfect balance of light and shadow, highlighting her incredible form and control. While we’ve had the privilege of shooting with pivotpixie many times since, this first collaboration remains one of our favorites, capturing Shawnie’s beauty in its rawest form.
