Back in 2022, while Nina and I were living in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico, we crossed paths with an incredible Italian model named Rika. Nina first met Rika while shooting at a photography workshop called Vagabond Vacations in Tulum, where Rika was modeling. Their chemistry during that workshop was so great that Nina invited her to Playa Del Carmen for another shoot before she left Mexico.
A few days after the workshop, Rika made the trip to Playa, and we set up a relaxed yet artistic shoot at our Airbnb. The natural light flooding through the windows, combined with the cozy vibe of the space, gave us the perfect setting to capture some truly stunning images. Rika has a unique presence in front of the camera—her effortless elegance, combined with her edgy, captivating look, made every frame feel like a piece of art.
The shoot felt like it was meant to happen. We had no strict plan, just creative ideas flowing between all of us, and Rika was incredible at adapting to the spontaneous energy of the session. Whether she was posing casually on the couch or playing with the light near the window, she brought a depth to the shoot that made the final images some of the best from our time in Mexico.
What really sets Lee Von Lux apart is her control. She’s not just standing in front of the camera; she’s actively creating art with each movement. As a fetish performer, she brings an extra layer of intensity and emotion to her modeling, allowing us to push boundaries creatively while still maintaining a level of professionalism that kept the entire session smooth and enjoyable.
Lee knows how to take direction and elevate it. She brought her own ideas and flair to the shoot, making it a true collaboration. Working with her felt less like directing and more like creating alongside an artist who has a deep understanding of their craft.
The fact that we met Rika through a chance encounter at the Vagabond Vacations workshop makes this collaboration even more special. It’s a reminder of how the right people can cross your path in the most unexpected ways. Working with Rika was effortless—she understood our creative vision and brought her own unique energy to the session, making it a true collaboration between us.
