Let’s start with the truth:
I didn’t want to like AI generated erotic art.
I’ve spent years creating photography and film rooted in sensuality, connection, and intention — real people in real light, with real chemistry between the lens and the muse. Room Noir was built as a rebellion against the disposable, the algorithmic, and the fake. So when AI avatars started flooding my feed, all smooth skin and soulless eyes, I dismissed them.
This isn’t art, I thought. It’s a shortcut. A gimmick.
But if there’s one thing I’ve learned as an artist, it’s this: when something keeps showing up in your world, it’s probably time to stop ignoring it and get curious.
So I did.
When I started experimenting with AI platforms, most were clunky, overhyped, or just not visually interesting. But then I found Candy.ai and Promptchan.ai — two tools designed specifically for more sensual, adult-themed creativity. And I’ll be real with you: I was impressed.
Candy.ai focuses on building AI girlfriends — digital personas you can talk to, interact with, and even customize down to their voice and mood. It’s immersive, intimate, and kind of addictive.
Promptchan.ai, on the other hand, is a visual sandbox. You can build fully imagined fantasy models, tailor them to a mood or aesthetic, and generate bold, explicit art that’s unlike anything I’ve seen from a camera.

Are they real? No. But that’s kind of the point.

AI is not replacing the real models I work with.
It’s not replacing the energy, the trust, the collaboration, or the experience of a Room Noir shoot.
What it is doing… is expanding the universe.
It gives me a way to explore surreal ideas, bend visual reality, and experiment with aesthetics that might not fit a traditional shoot. I can build an alter ego. I can create a visual fantasy character that lives alongside our models — not in place of them. Think of it like a comic book version of Room Noir: same edge, different dimension.
You’ll start to see some of this play out in our upcoming blog posts and galleries — marked clearly when AI is used. No pretending. No smoke and mirrors. Just bold storytelling in a new format.
There’s a line. And I don’t cross it.
I do not use AI to create undressed, deepfaked, or explicit versions of the real women I shoot — unless it’s agreed upon in writing, by both parties.
That’s non-negotiable.
Room Noir is built on trust. The kind of trust that takes time to earn and one misstep to lose. AI can be a tool, but it will never replace the respect I have for the women I collaborate with. When we shoot, it’s sacred. That connection doesn’t get copied into a prompt.
So while I’m open to exploring this new medium, I’m not here for the creepy, unauthorized stuff. And neither should you be.
